The base salary for this role is $115,000 - $145,000

What you’ll do: 

You will write, review and maintain code primarily in JavaScript/NodeJS using Typescript, and interact with MongoDB and Postgres databases
Developing and enhancing mobile & web applications
Utilize best practices and understand emerging trends, be constantly learning and growing.
Drive and own your area of responsibility
Evaluate and recommend solutions and guide team decision making. You’ll seek and solve tough problems and you like the challenge
Work in a cross-functional squad that collaborates with other disciplines like Design and Product
Participate in code reviews, helping evolve coding practices and standards, and write production-quality code
Mentor, pair, share learnings and help others around you to grow

What you’ll need:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent work experience
You will be working with NodeJs, TypeScript, React Native, MongoDB, mySQL, Ruby and AWS Services (Lambda, SQS, S3, etc.)
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and web services
Understanding of event driven architecture (RabbitMQ)
Track record of developing products that scale
You have a knack for leaving things better than you found them
You think big and are strategic in your approach
Excellent problem-solving skills 
Be a great team player, be open and willing to listen and learn, but confident and skilled to contribute and share
Be willing to constructively challenge the status quo and be determined to build the best software out there
A high-performance mentality, and an independent self-starter
