Base Salary: CAD $70,000 - $85,000

We’re looking for a Senior QA Analyst who’s ready to lead the charge. Someone who loves clarity, hates bugs, and thinks beyond the ticket in front of them.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for manual, automated, and performance testing.
• Lead and mentor QA efforts in an Agile environment, driving collaborative and adaptive solution delivery.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Appium, AI-powered testing tools, and scripting languages.
• Execute functional, regression, negative, exploratory, unit, black-box, white-box, and shift-left testing to ensure robust coverage.
• Perform performance, load, and stress testing to verify scalability and stability under varying workloads.
• Conduct root cause analysis and work closely with developers to ensure effective and timely defect resolution.
• Integrate security testing principles into QA processes to safeguard product integrity and data privacy.
• Perform web application, mobile (iOS/Android), database (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL), and API testing including REST and SOAP.
• Collaborate with DevOps to integrate testing early in the development cycle and maintain healthy test environments.
• Support continuous improvement of QA frameworks, tools, and processes

What You’ll Need

• 5+ years of QA experience, with at least 2 years in senior roles.
• Experience with AI-based tools for automated testing or test planning.
• Proven expertise across manual and automated testing (Selenium, Appium, AI-driven testing tools).
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience in Agile methodology, with a track record of fostering team collaboration.
• Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and automation test frameworks.
• Experience testing APIs and ability to automate test cases using test tools.
• Strong experience with database testing, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MS SQL.
• Proficiency in programming or scripting languages (Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Ruby).
• Familiarity with xUnit, nUnit, and other automated test frameworks.
• Strong background in performance and load testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Proficient in using Postman, Git/GitHub, Jenkins, and cloud-based testing environments.
• Strong knowledge of security principles and test methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
• Post-secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Technology, or a related field

Bonus Points

• Familiarity with tools like TestRail, JIRA, Confluence.
• Exposure to containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of risk-based testing and advanced exploratory testing techniques.
