In this individual contributor role, you’ll serve as a key player in shaping credit and fraud risk strategies. You’ll own critical analytics functions - from credit provisioning insights to portfolio segmentation - and collaborate across teams to deliver actionable recommendations. Your work will influence long-term financial planning and executive decision-making at the highest level.

What You’ll Do
  • Portfolio Segmentation & Dashboards: Build and maintain dashboards that segment credit and fraud risk profiles, driving visibility across portfolios.
  • Ad-Hoc Risk Analytics: Dive deep into large datasets to uncover trends, anomalies, and behavioral drivers impacting portfolio performance and loss provisioning.
  • Provision Forecasting: Support the forecasting and analysis of credit loss provisions through data-backed insights and strategic commentary.
  • Competitive & Macroeconomic Tracking: Monitor external market trends and macroeconomic indicators to anticipate emerging risks and opportunities.
  • Self-Serve Analytics Enablement: Develop tools and frameworks to enable other teams to run their own data queries and analyses efficiently.
  • Strategic Reporting: Craft clear, compelling data narratives and present findings to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.

What You’ll Bring
  • 3+ years of experience in credit analytics, fraud risk, or related fields (e.g., collections, recoveries, or portfolio management).
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python; familiarity with Looker is a plus
  • Experience working with large datasets to extract actionable insights.
  • Ability to communicate complex data in clear, strategic terms to non-technical stakeholders.
  • A curious mindset and ability to leverage tools and AI to deeply understand trends.
  • Knowledge of the Canadian subprime lending space is a bonus.

Benefits of working with us:

  • ALWAYS FULLY REMOTE WORK - Enjoy the flexibility of remote work, supported by necessary resources #LI-Remote
  • Comprehensive Health and Wellness - Access medical, dental, and vision coverage plus a Health Spending Account
  • Stock Options - Have a stake in the company's success through stock options
  • Flex Vacation - Benefit from paid time off, including vacation days, holidays, and personal days
  • Wellbeing Programs - Access counselling services, mental health support, and additional wellness resources
